Rising Hope Foundation Cameroon Training program aim is to offer leadership and entrepreneurship skills to unemployed from various backgrounds especially those who struggle with poverty challenges on a daily basis. In this excellent program, learners have to commit to working together to make positive changes in their communities with innovative ideas. We use a highly skilled team of facilitators and accredited companies to run the courses.

 

Criteria to participate for learners are submission of a business plan, proof of unemployment and ID card. Rising Hope Foundation Cameroon commits and depending on funding abilities to offer small grant(s) 1 to 3 leaners and accompany them with advice to create sustainable start-ups/small businesses.

Our Training’ program has two main components:

 

Firstly, a Leadership and Entrepreneurship curriculum that enables learners to cultivate 21st-century skills, with an emphasis on employment opportunities, enterprise creation, community engagement, and civic responsibility. For this purpose, we also offers as support online free programs with Alison (online platform for free courses) in our learning centre.

 

Secondly, it offers mentoring in which learners are paired with professionals who guide them through the transition process and support them through the challenges they face in starting enterprises and community initiatives as well as in their personal lives. Finally, tutoring sessions improve the learning outcomes of students measured by their performance at school, national and international examinations.

 

Lastly, we offer a small grant for some projects depending on Funding availability and assist beneficiaries to manage their finance and become independent.

 

Our goal is to reach over 500 young people by 2050. We are working closely and in partnership with the local authorities to support our initiative in transforming the education and employments systems .

Entrepreneurship Training Programme

 

This is a range of free courses which Rising Hope Foundation Cameroon offers to all young Entrepreneurs and any unemployed young person who seek to learn skills to help them building a sustainable business and . Entrepreneurship is the cornerstone of any modern economy. Every day, entrepreneurs around the world are starting their own business. Most of these courses will teach you the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs.

 

It will also discuss the kind of business models and marketing strategies an entrepreneur can use to start a business, and more. It is delivers by Alison.com and Reach platforms. You will earn certificate at the end of the courses. There are permanent tutors who will answer your questions in centre or by e-mail. We also offer basic IT and Microsoft excel packages training with our tutors in centre and online , these are offered to the general public including students. Our centre is opened Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

 

We encourage all participants to our Entrepreneurship Summer training programs to attend this course before submitting their application and projects.

 

This is CPD Accredited . This course is in English ; However, participants may contact tutors for further clarification in French.

Entrepreneurship & Leadership Training Program

Rising Hope Foundation Cameroon offers this 3 full days training programs to raise awareness about entrepreneurship in Cameroon, encourage and support unemployed to create sustainable businesses. Our target is the creation of at least 15 small businesses each year; Participants are selected carefully on submission of their projects and application form. We aim to offer mentoring to each participant and a one-to-one tutoring and advice to the grants receivers (we wish to offer two grants of 250,000 FCFA every year subject to some criteria).


Our two main areas of focus up to 2025 are :

 

1- The transformation of natural resources to finished products (i.e local juice productions, tomatoes paste, cassava spaghetti, local baby food and cereals etc.)


2- Baking: Bread, Cakes etc.

The training will be delivered by professionals for two days. The first day of the training being an introduction to Entrepreneurship with a unique theme to discuss each year , it will be the occasion for participants and invited businesses to link-up.


Course Overview :

 

This course begins by giving you an introduction to the mind of an entrepreneur. You will explore the factors and characteristics that are commonly found in an entrepreneurial mindset which you can strive to possess and emulate. You will learn how to enhance your entrepreneurial mind by subscribing to newsletters, engaging in discussions with entrepreneurs, keeping a diary of your journey, seeking out educational programs, refining your entrepreneurial characteristics on a daily basis, and more!

 

You will then learn where to find the right resources to develop and enhance your entrepreneurial skills. You will also get the chance to take an entrepreneur assessment survey so you can learn if you’ve got what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.

 

Being a successful entrepreneur takes a lot of work. You need a strategic plan to make your goals a reality and to begin your own hero’s journey. Upon the completion of this course, you will gain a better understanding of the common characteristics of an entrepreneur. You will also learn the development and planning process involved in the launch of a new product, the business ecosystem, and a knowledge of successful business models so make sure to check this course out!
